I am an independent scholar and freelance academic currently living in Leverkusen, Germany. Over the years, I have taught English as a Foreign Language; English, American, and World Literature; English Composition; and Creative Writing, Fiction to students of diverse backgrounds and age categories, at several high schools, community colleges, and at the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida (for twelve years).
